Check-In & Out
All files are automatically indexed and versioned. When a file is checked-out, VFC knows to automatically load the software native to it, whether a Word, Powerpoint, Smart Office, InDesign file, or any other file. When checking-in a file, VFC's version control window automatically loads.
Document Collaboration
By also purhcasing the Projects component, users can share and collaborate on all files. Using the check-in/out feature, VFC will automatically broadcast the status of all shared files. If checked out, it will inform other users who is currently in control of the document. If not, any user in the shared project can check-out the file.

Version Control
Versioning tracks incremental changes by permitting content to be checked in or out. VFC can show all previous versions of a file in addition to which user made those changes and any comments given. Any previous version can be reverted and set as the most recent version.
